Nose
The nose seems deep and dark. Awe and curiosity, before what may come, shine.
Lemongrass and Kaffir lime leaves evoke Far Eastern associations. A delicate hint of wet slate makes itself broad. However, this sleeping giant does not leave much room for the development of fruit aromas.
Floral notes of elderflower and jasmine resonate in the background.
Palate
In the nose powerful and full of character. On the palate, a cornucopia of delicate aromas spreads out and a dark minerality becomes noticeable. Salty and with a lot of pressure, this Riesling shows its muscles. Almost drying out and with a lot of draught, the first glass draws to a close. The mouthfeel left behind and the cool feel on the teeth are sheer sensationally good. This drinks really nicely. Above all, however, the realization remains here that great things will develop in this wine in the coming years.
After a few days, a great combination of salty minerality and gripping acidity develops. This could be the outlook for the future.
