Color:
Slightly cloudy golden yellow.
Nose:
The 2014 Les Vieux Clos is still a bit closed due to its youth. Its fruit delicately reminds of apple, quince and peach skin and shows animating wild and animalistic hints. Notes of smoked baked apple and yeasty nuances pleasantly round off the complex and at the same time fine aroma.
Palate:
On the tongue, the 2014 Les Vieux Clos appears powerful and punchy and shows, in addition to the fruity notes of the nose, a great herbal spice and exciting length in the long finish. A wine that still has a few years ahead of it to develop.
Recommendation:
Be sure to aerate and serve not too cold in a large enough glass.
