Color
Dense, muted violet-red.
Nose
The 2014 La Diablesse Chinon from Château de Coulaine conveys all the aromas that make up a typical Cabernet Franc from the Loire. Fascinating coolness, blackcurrant fruit, sloe, green pepper, pepper and juniper.
Palate
Powerful and wonderfully juicy is the palate. The juicy, almost sweet fruit finds its perfect counterpart in the vegetal notes of the paprika. The tannins seem polished. At the same time, a great spice and piquancy spreads across the tongue. There are sometimes wines that you just want to drink with joy and pleasure - this drop is definitely one of them. Slim 12.5 Vol % and diabolically good.
