Info:
Grenache Gris planted in 1954 on slate.
Color:
Light green with silver rim.
Nose:
The 2017 Iglesia Vella is a reflection of its origins, next to the stony soil, the herbs of the garrigue and the rushing and roaring sea, grapefruit, quince and a hint of coconut show up in the nose. The whole is carried by cool slate notes and fragrant hints of lime blossom and chamomile.
Palate:
Super juicy and precise the palate with great freshness and extreme saltiness equipped. A wine that fascinates, inspires and takes the drinker completely for itself. Clear and puristic companions are trumps here!
Recommendation:
Be sure to carafe and use large glasses.
