Color
Dense violet-red, almost dense in colour to the rim.
Nose
The 2014 Fincas de Ganuza Reserva is striking with peat, tar, wood smoke and licorice. With oxygen contact, the fruit aromas of sweet black cherries, berries and plum jam take the stage. A coherent fragrance with the fullness, warmth and complexity of a typical Rioja with modern orientation.
Palate
The impression of the nose is confirmed wonderfully on the tongue, pure juiciness and fruit sweetness are coated by a still youthful and at the same time ripe tannin structure and an invigorating acidity, beautifully integrated into the entirety of the wine. A Rioja with very good maturity potential, which one can combine already in the still juvenile stage after sufficient aeration to grill courts and stews wonderfully.
Be sure to decant and enjoy from a large glass.
