On the palate, Kai Schätzel's 2018 Riesling Kabinett is a celebration of juiciness. Its yellow-fleshed fruit dances on an acidity that is stretched like a tightrope. Thus, the fruity-sweet hip swing of the wine is also properly countered and one catches oneself, thoughtlessly enjoying the moment, to have already emptied the bottle.
