Color
Muted violet red with bluish reflections.
Nose
The 2018 wine is expressive and pure. Lots of sloe, blueberries, blackberries, dark cherries, wild raspberries, plus graphite and cool stony notes. A hint of cinnamon, dark chocolate and vanilla give it charm, incense and clove give it a mystical touch.
Palate
Juicy, berry and beguiling, yet very puristic is its appearance on the tongue, the tannin polished, the acidity present and at the same time well integrated, fine spice in the aftertaste. Opulent fullness in combination with elegant and stimulating structure. Most beautifully cooled to hearty kitchen with much spice and concentrated sauces.
