Artist's edition designed by Jean-Yves Klein in a limited edition. The edition includes a lithograph signed by the artist, the distillate Eau-De-Vie d'Alsace Vieille Mirabelle by Jean-Paul Metté with a specially designed artist's label and a wooden box with branding. The delicate character of the Old Mirabelle inspired Jean-Yves Klein to design this label. The artist went to work with a correspondingly fine line. Every sip warmed his heart thanks to the filigree aroma spectrum of the Mirabelle. Born in Montreal/Canada, Jean-Yves Klein studied in Paris and Berlin at the Hochschule der Künste. In 1986 he was a master student of Martin Engelmann and received various scholarships, among others from the Starke Foundation. His monumental work, the Bacchanal, recently caused a sensation. His 6 m x 15 m relief with a motif borrowed from the Dionysian cult adorns the "Gendamerie" in the capital. The artist lives and works alternately in Berlin and on the Peleponnes.
