Artist's edition designed by Evelyn Sommerhoff in a limited edition. The edition includes a lithograph signed by the artist, the distillate Eau-De-Vie d'Alsace Framboise by Jean-Paul Metté with a specially designed artist's label and a wooden box with branding. Evelyn Sommerhoff immediately associated the intensity of the aromas with a picnic in the forest. So what could be more natural than to depict this scene in the colour of the fruit of her chosen eau-de-vie. Like the spirit, the line flits seductively buoyant and light across the label. Human bodies in motion, whether inwardly, rather hidden from the viewer, or outwardly, are the motif of many of Evelyn Sommerhoff's paintings. Especially in dance, emotion, expression, eroticism and the whole aesthetics of human existence are revealed, which the artist expresses pointedly with a line. In order to be able to capture these impressions in her individual snapshots, the Berlin-based painter accompanied dancers' rehearsals and even the creation of entire dance pieces for years. The graphic, almost dance-like line runs like a red thread through the total work of art. This stylistic element also recurs in the artist's other genres, such as the landscapes and non-representational works to the large-format, flag-like gestural drawings, in its unique mode of expression and expressive power.
