Vienna

Vienna, the capital of Austria, is not only known for its cultural sights and historic buildings, but also for its long tradition of winegrowing. The city is home to around 700 hectares of vineyards, which are mainly located on the outskirts of the city and offer a unique terroir. In recent years, Vienna has increasingly specialised in the production of organic wines, setting a strong example for sustainability and environmental awareness.

The Viennese winegrowers attach great importance to the careful cultivation of their vineyards and the use of organic methods. By avoiding the use of chemical pesticides and fertilisers, they promote natural biodiversity and maintain the health of the soil. The results are wines of the highest quality that reflect the authentic character of Vienna's wine-growing regions.

One of Vienna's best-known wineries specialising in organic wines is the Hajszan Neumann winery. The family-run winery has been cultivating its vineyards according to biodynamic guidelines for many years and favours a holistic approach in harmony with nature. Hajszan Neumann's wines are characterised by their elegance, complexity and expressiveness and have already received numerous international awards.
