Wine Vacation

Prices and availability as of July 13, 2025

While you're reading this, someone is opening a bottle by the pool in Taormina. In Porto, someone is leaning against the railing, toasting the Atlantic. The Tramuntana wind blows through a glass in Deià.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Dear,

Are you already far away or still at the office? Are you packing your bags or already sitting under palm trees?

I've put together a few bottles that capture the essence of my favorite places. The wines themselves remain incognito – it's about the journey, not the labels.

Let's go.

Provence. Powerful yet refreshing, with fruity fullness, Mediterranean spice, and length. Beautiful fruit aromas of sweet peaches, cherries, apple tart, and red currant jelly unite with fragrant lavender blossoms, dried pastries, and fresh and dried herbs of Provence. A market visit in Aix in a glass.

Sicily. Grillo & Zibibbo from volcanic terraces and sandy clay soils – a summer in a glass. Pineapple, ripe mango, and oranges meet elderflower, fennel fronds, and Mediterranean herbs. A breeze of seashells and anise wafts through this golden-yellow wine. On the palate, juicy and charming, with a fine herbaceous-citrus note that tastes of sea and sun. The perfect companion for lazy pool afternoons in Taormina.

Mallorca. With all those dark berry fruit aromas, almost meaty, subtly grilled, spice and extract on the nose, this wine made from Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Mallorcan Callet surprises on the palate with the refreshing Tramuntana breeze that blows through the mountain villages in the evening.

Catalonia. Pale yellow with green reflections, bright and clear. Balanced yet penetrating, this wine carries the vibrant stillness of the Montserrat mountains within. Restrained fruit aromas of green stone fruit, almonds, and white blossoms blend into a contemplative still life.

Portugal. The delicate fruit aromas carry Atlantic spray and herbal spice, garnished with floral top notes of Portuguese wildflowers. A biodynamic Vinho Verde in pale yellow with green reflections.

Mosel. This Riesling from blue slate carries the sunlight of the steep slopes within – oscillating between rich, ripe fruit, wet river stone, and sponge cake. Bright straw yellow, radiant and clear, every sip a river bend.

You can add all six wines to your cart here.
