Questo monopole di quasi 20 ettari fu inserito nella categoria pi\u00f9 alta gi\u00e0 nel 1868 dal governo reale prussiano, molto prima che il VDP lo classificasse come Gro\u00dfe Lage. Ci\u00f2 che rende cos\u00ec speciale questo vigneto in forte pendenza: <strong>ardesia devoniana ricca di ferro<\/strong>, esposizione sud-sud-ovest e parcelle con pendenze fino al 55 per cento. Le viti di <a href=\"\/it\/sorte\/riesling\/\" title=\"Vini Riesling su Vini Vivi\">Riesling<\/a> qui devono lottare, e in cambio danno vini di tensione minerale e longevit\u00e0 fuori dal comune. La fresca valle della Ruwer, con le sue notti fresche, regala ai vini quella finezza che vibra ancora dopo decenni.<\/p>\n<h2>Il legame con lo Champagne<\/h2>\n<p>Nel 2020 Albert Behler ha chiamato a bordo un uomo che ridefinisce lo stile del Karth\u00e4userhof: <strong>Mathieu Kauffmann<\/strong>, ex chef de cave di Bollinger e direttore tecnico di Reichsrat von Buhl. Lavoro manuale nelle parcelle pi\u00f9 ripide, rinuncia agli interventi di sintesi, pazienza invece di intervento. What makes this steep site so special is <strong>iron-rich Devonian slate<\/strong>, a south-south-westerly exposure and parcels with gradients of up to 55 per cent. The cool Ruwer valley with its fresh nights gives the wines the finesse that still vibrates even after decades.\n\n<h2>The Champagne connection<\/h2>\n\nIn 2020 Albert Behler brought on board a man who has redefined the style of the Karth\u00e4userhof: <strong>Mathieu Kauffmann<\/strong>, former chef de cave at Bollinger and technical director at Reichsrat von Buhl. Des vins qui le prouvent : une grande tradition n\u2019a pas besoin de hausser le ton.","it":"<h2>Un dono che d\u00e0 frutti dal 1335<\/h2>\n\nQuando nel 1335 il principe elettore Baldovino di Lussemburgo don\u00f2 ai monaci certosini un appezzamento presso Eitelsbach, nessuno immaginava che qui sarebbe nata una delle tenute pi\u00f9 importanti della Germania. Per quasi cinque secoli i silenziosi monaci coltivarono i ripidi pendii sopra la Ruwer, finch\u00e9 Napoleone avvi\u00f2 la secolarizzazione. Nel 1811 l'ispettore generale francese Valentin Leonardy acquist\u00f2 la propriet\u00e0 all'asta, ponendo cos\u00ec le basi di una tradizione familiare che dura ancora oggi. Albert Behler, cugino del leggendario Christoph Tyrell, guida il Karth\u00e4userhof dal 2012, settima generazione. Il suo credo: <strong>\u00abOgni giorno scriviamo qualche sillaba della nostra storia\u00bb.<\/strong>\n\n<img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-219885 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lebendigeweine.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/karthaeuserhof_galerie1.webp\" alt=\"Veduta aerea del monopole Karth\u00e4userhofberg sulla Ruwer\" \/>\n\n<h2>Dove l'ardesia sa di ferro<\/h2>\n\nIl <strong>Karth\u00e4userhofberg<\/strong> non \u00e8 un vigneto qualunque. Questo monopole di quasi 20 ettari fu inserito nella categoria pi\u00f9 alta gi\u00e0 nel 1868 dal governo reale prussiano, molto prima che il VDP lo classificasse come Gro\u00dfe Lage. Ci\u00f2 che rende cos\u00ec speciale questo vigneto in forte pendenza: <strong>ardesia devoniana ricca di ferro<\/strong>, esposizione sud-sud-ovest e parcelle con pendenze fino al 55 per cento. Le viti di <a href=\"\/it\/sorte\/riesling\/\" title=\"Vini Riesling su Vini Vivi\">Riesling<\/a> qui devono lottare, e in cambio danno vini di tensione minerale e longevit\u00e0 fuori dal comune. La fresca valle della Ruwer, con le sue notti fresche, regala ai vini quella finezza che vibra ancora dopo decenni.\n\n<h2>Il legame con lo Champagne<\/h2>\n\nNel 2020 Albert Behler ha chiamato a bordo un uomo che ridefinisce lo stile del Karth\u00e4userhof: <strong>Mathieu Kauffmann<\/strong>, ex chef de cave di Bollinger e direttore tecnico di Reichsrat von Buhl. L'alsaziano porta la precisione dello Champagne sulla Ruwer e nel 2024 realizza un sogno vecchio di quasi 200 anni: il primo <a href=\"\/it\/karthaeuserhof-karthaeuserhof-brut-traditionelle-flaschengaerung\/\" title=\"Karth\u00e4userhof Brut Sekt\">Karth\u00e4userhof Brut<\/a>. In un monopole che produce vino da quasi 700 anni conta una cosa sola: la vitalit\u00e0 del suolo. Lavoro manuale nelle parcelle pi\u00f9 ripide, rinuncia agli interventi di sintesi, pazienza invece di intervento.
