Il Pinot Nero passa in secondo piano rispetto ai vini bianchi, perch\u00e9 questi ultimi sono cos\u00ec eccezionali e il vino rosso \u00e8 \"solo molto buono\". Tuttavia, questo ha un vantaggio particolare: si pu\u00f2 ottenere un vino rosso di qualit\u00e0 eccellente a un prezzo straordinariamente buono. E se si investe nel classico <em>Il vino di Borgogna<\/em> di Camille Rodier, che tendeva sempre a privilegiare la C\u00f4te de Nuits quando si trattava di vino rosso, dice che, secondo lui, il rosso <em>Chassagne-Montrachets<\/em> di Clos St. Jean e Morgeot pu\u00f2 competere con molti cru della C\u00f4te de Nuits. Il <em>Chassagne-Montrachet <\/em><em>Vie di campagna<\/em> proviene da due appezzamenti vicini al villaggio, piantati rispettivamente nel 1935 e nel 1969. L'appezzamento pi\u00f9 recente ha un terreno prevalentemente argilloso e marrone, mentre l'altro \u00e8 piuttosto sabbioso e permeabile ed \u00e8 situato su un crinale. La resa di queste vecchie vigne \u00e8 generalmente bassa e raramente raggiunge i 45 ettolitri per ettaro. Le uve, in gran parte diraspate, vengono fatte fermentare con lieviti indigeni in una combinazione di botti e vasche neutre. La fermentazione malolattica avviene naturalmente. La percentuale di legno nuovo \u00e8 di circa il 20 %. L'aggiunta di zolfo avviene solo negli ultimi sei mesi di permanenza in botte e viene effettuata a pi\u00f9 riprese con dosi minime, in modo che il vino non contenga mai pi\u00f9 di 35 mg\/l in totale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Colore<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Rosso ciliegia brillante<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Naso<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Thomas Moreys <em>Chassagne-Montrachet Vieilles Vignes 2019 <\/em>si apre con un aroma di frutti rossi e fruttato. Tuttavia, il frutto di ribes rosso, ciliegie, melograni e mele rosse viene rapidamente catturato da una nota di sous-bois tipica di Chassagne-Montrachet, ovvero una combinazione di sottobosco e terreno forestale leggermente muschiato e umido. Non \u00e8 pesante, ma rinvigorente e fresco.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Palato<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Al palato, il <em>Chassagne-Montrachet<\/em><em> Vie di campagna<\/em> esattamente come se il centro di <em>Pommard<\/em> e <em>Beaune<\/em> colpire nel segno. Da un lato, il vino appare scuro e terroso, ma senza il tannino spesso teso e robusto di un vino da tavola. <em>Pommard<\/em>D'altra parte, il vino mostra il suo lato setoso e chiaro, fresco e succoso. Si tratta di un Pinot Nero assolutamente non influenzato e non mascherato, con solo un lievissimo sentore di legno. L'enfasi \u00e8 sulla succosa e fresca frutta rossa e scura, un piacevole mordente e un fresco lato minerale che offre molta presa.
