Les Macherelles si trova sul lato nord di Chassagne, su una dolce collina. Il terreno argilloso presenta un'elevata percentuale di ossido di ferro, motivo per cui circa due terzi dei 5,19 ettari sono coltivati a Pinot Nero. Morey possiede parcelle con viti di 40-50 anni. La fermentazione avviene con lieviti indigeni in una combinazione di botti e vasche neutre. La fermentazione malolattica avviene in modo naturale e il vino rimane sui lieviti senza alcun b\u00e2tonnage. La percentuale di legno nuovo \u00e8 di circa 20 %. L'aggiunta di zolfo avviene solo negli ultimi sei mesi di permanenza in botte, e viene effettuata a pi\u00f9 riprese con dosi minime, in modo che il vino non superi mai i 35 mg\/l in totale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Colore<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Giallo paglierino medio<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Naso<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Thomas Moreys <em>Chassagne-Montrachet <\/em><em>Le Macherelles <\/em><em>2019 <\/em>\u00e8 un vino fragrante e al naso quasi austero, una <em>pi\u00f9 dritto<\/em> Chardonnay agrumato, che ricorda i limoni salati in salamoia, la citronella e qualche spremuta di lime, ma anche le prugne mirabelle. In cima c'\u00e8 una nota erbacea e aspra, che si combina con una nota molto sottile di legno e salvia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Palato<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Al palato, il <em>Chassagne-Montrachet <\/em><em>Le Macherelles <\/em>Assolutamente chiaro, lineare e preciso. Il sito non \u00e8 uno dei pi\u00f9 noti di Chassagne, ma ci\u00f2 che Morey ha estratto dalle vecchie vigne \u00e8 eccellente. Lo Chardonnay appare fresco e ossuto, ma anche cremoso con una leggera fusione. L'acidit\u00e0 \u00e8 vivace e pressante, il frutto \u00e8 croccante e alterna note verdi mature a note gialle leggere. C'\u00e8 anche una nota di frutta secca e di fumo.
