Le vignoble est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Beaune, juste avant Pommard et au nord du Clos des Mouches. Le sol est tr\u00e8s calcaire et pauvre, avec peu d'humus en surface. Les vignes doivent s'enfoncer profond\u00e9ment dans le sol, mais heureusement, elles sont aussi anciennes. Les 0,21 hectares sont entour\u00e9s d'un mur de pierres s\u00e8ches. La densit\u00e9 des cannes est d'environ 10 000 dans la formation Guyot. Boris Champy utilise quelques grappes enti\u00e8res pour la fermentation dans des casiers de fermentation en bois. Le vin est exclusivement \u00e9lev\u00e9 en <em>pi\u00e8ces<\/em> de la cave tonneau Eric Millard pendant douze mois.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Couleur<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>rouge grenat l\u00e9g\u00e8rement transparent<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Nez<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Boris Champys <em>Beaune 1er Cru <\/em><em>Vignes Franches<\/em> <em>2019<\/em> offre une tr\u00e8s belle expression d'une <em>Beaune 1er Cru<\/em>. Cela est d\u00fb principalement au bois utilis\u00e9, mais aussi \u00e0 la p\u00e9riode de r\u00e9colte parfaite. Le Pinot Noir appara\u00eet m\u00fbr mais frais et tr\u00e8s vivant avec des notes de cerises juteuses, de framboises, de m\u00fbres et de quelques prunes en combinaison avec un sol forestier chaud, un peu de sous-bois, des notes \u00e9pic\u00e9es l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sucr\u00e9es et du chocolat noir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Palais<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Toujours en bouche, le <em>Vignes Franches<\/em> la fra\u00eecheur d\u00e9j\u00e0 si \u00e9vidente dans le bouquet, qui provient ici non seulement des fruits juteux et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement acides, mais aussi de la min\u00e9ralit\u00e9 du sol aride, pierreux et calcaire. Le Pinot Noir est percutant avec une acidit\u00e9 superbement int\u00e9gr\u00e9e et un tanin d\u00e9licieux, aid\u00e9 par l'excellent bois.
