Les Macherelles liegt auf der n\u00f6rdlichen Seite von Chassagne an einem sanften H\u00fcgel. Der Lehmboden hat einen hohen Anteil an Eisenoxid, weshalb auch rund zwei Drittel der 5,19 Hektar mit Pinot Noir bepflanzt sind. Morey besitzt Parzellen mit 40 bis 50 Jahre alten Reben. Die G\u00e4rung erfolgt mit indigenen Hefen in einer Kombination aus neutralem Fass und Tank. Die malolaktische G\u00e4rung l\u00e4uft auf nat\u00fcrliche Weise ab, und der Wein verbleibt auf seiner Hefe ohne jegliche B\u00e2tonnage. Der Neuholzanteil betr\u00e4gt rund 20\u202f%. Geschwefelt wird erst im letzten halben Jahr im Fass, und zwar mehrfach mit minimalen Dosen, sodass der Wein insgesamt nie auf mehr als 35 mg\/l kommt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Couleur<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>jaune paille moyen<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Nez<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Thomas Moreys <em>Chassagne-Montrachet <\/em><em>Les Macherelles <\/em><em>2019 <\/em>est un nez parfum\u00e9 et presque aust\u00e8re, une <em>straighter<\/em> Chardonnay citronn\u00e9, rappelant les citrons marin\u00e9s, la citronnelle et quelques pressions de citron vert, mais aussi les mirabelles. Au-dessus se trouve une note acidul\u00e9e herbac\u00e9e qui se combine avec une note tr\u00e8s subtile de bois et de pommade.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Palais<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>En bouche, le <em>Chassagne-Montrachet <\/em><em>Les Macherelles <\/em>absolument claire, lin\u00e9aire et pr\u00e9cise. Le site n'est pas l'un des plus connus de Chassagne, mais ce que Morey a tir\u00e9 des vieilles vignes ici est excellent. Le Chardonnay est frais et osseux, mais il est aussi cr\u00e9meux et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement fondu. L'acidit\u00e9 est vive et livre une pression, le fruit semble croquant et alterne entre des notes vertes m\u00fbres et jaunes p\u00e2les.
