Nose
The Albariño shows itself expressive and intense. Above all, caramelized quince, tarte tatin and almond shape the first impression. Some short pastry, kaffir lime and ripe pear come to the fore as well. Exotic fruits like lychee, melon and some candied pineapple echo in the background. Also some hogweed as well as vegetal hints of fennel can be discovered.
Palate
The nuances of fine patisserie and caramelized stone fruit are reflected on the palate as well. Also the almondy flavours come to the fore with slightly roasted notes. Vegetable notes of fennel and celery become apparent. A sea breeze rounds off this prime example of this grape variety. It is well-balanced and harmonious with a delicate melting. The finish is enormously juicy and the fruit nails itself on the palate.
