With just under 40 hectares, Ibizkus farms roughly half of Ibiza's vineyard area. The two owners are seasoned wine connoisseurs who originally came from the wine trade. By founding the bodega on the island, they fulfilled a dream. The many journeys of their previous chapter took them to numerous wine regions around the world and to the finest estates. These inspirations laid the foundation for their shared idea and future.<\/p>\n

The Balearics<\/h2>\n

The Balearics, and Ibiza in particular, are hardly the first wine regions that come to mind when connoisseurs think of Spain. On Ibiza especially, wine production is extremely small. Yet Ibiza very much stands for a Mediterranean way of life. Its climate, vegetation and geology closely resemble those of the southern Spanish mainland. The Mediterranean and the constant winds have a moderating effect on the vineyards, and thus on the wine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

La vinification est dans l\u2019ensemble tr\u00e8s proche de la nature. Les c\u00e9pages internationaux n\u2019ont gu\u00e8re d\u2019importance. On trouve donc surtout des c\u00e9pages locaux comme le <strong>monastrell, le macabeu, la malvasia<\/strong>, ainsi qu\u2019un peu de tempranillo, de cabernet sauvignon et de syrah. Les rouges de monastrell en monoc\u00e9page sont au fruit sombre et charnus, mais montrent finesse et \u00e9l\u00e9gance. Certaines vignes ont plus de 70 ans, et quelques ceps sont nettement plus \u00e2g\u00e9s encore. Anche la vinificazione \u00e8 nel complesso molto vicina alla natura. I vitigni internazionali hanno poca importanza. Si trovano soprattutto variet\u00e0 locali come <strong>Monastrell, Macabeu, Malvasia<\/strong>, oltre a un po' di Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon e Syrah. Il Monastrell occupa il 95% della superficie. Un'attenzione netta, dunque, per il vitigno autoctono e per le vecchie <strong>viti a piede franco<\/strong> che l\u00ec si trovano ancora. Il Monastrell \u00e8 sinonimo di un rosso dal frutto scuro, ma succoso e di facile approccio. Dopo il Tempranillo \u00e8 il secondo vitigno pi\u00f9 diffuso in Spagna e ha il suo epicentro intorno ad Alicante.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ibiza-im-wein-und-im-namen\">Ibiza, nel vino e nel nome<\/h2>\n<p>Nei primi anni la cantina si chiamava ancora <strong>Totem Wines<\/strong>. Il rosso si chiamava Totem e il <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lebendigeweine.de\/it\/ibizkus-rosado-2019-ibizkus-totem-wines\/\" title=\"Acquista Ibizkus Ros\u00e9\">rosato Ibizkus<\/a><\/strong>. Un rosato che rispecchia perfettamente la sapidit\u00e0 e la leggerezza della vita mediterranea. Di carattere, ricco di sfumature aromatiche e al tempo stesso meravigliosamente elegante. Questo rosato si \u00e8 affermato come un marchio forte, tanto che si \u00e8 deciso di mettere il suo nome in primo piano. Il richiamo all'amata terra d'origine si legge facilmente nel nome.<\/p>\n<p>In cantina si ricorre a una tecnologia moderna. I rossi monovarietali da Monastrell hanno frutto scuro e polpa, ma mostrano finezza ed eleganza. Alcuni vigneti superano i 70 anni e singole viti sono ancora molto pi\u00f9 vecchie.
