Stewed quince, salty hazelnuts and gingerbread follow on the heels, and vetiver and autumn leaves provide the necessary bass. Stand at attention!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Mouth<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>At the palate it continues tightly. The balance of sweetness and acidity is picture-perfect and is coolly underpinned by salty minerality. It gives it drinking traction and provides a grippy texture on the palate that makes the glass refill quickly. The chalky soils of Clos Windsbuhl are the ideal prerequisite to show what Pinot Gris is capable of.
