\nAroma
\nIf you give this 2016 Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru enough time to develop - either open it two days before tasting or decant it vehemently - it offers a seductively powerful and lively bouquet. It begins with an orchestra of citrus, orange, mandarin and sweetened kumquats, anchored in subtle honey notes, complemented by the exotic undertones of cardamom and aniseed. Sweet pastry and floral aromas round off this enchantingly lively fragrance.
\nTaste
\nOn the palate, this 2016 Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru verifies the fascinating and at the same time fine aroma play of the nose. Its juicy citrus fruit blends with gossamer fruit sweetness and stimulating acidity. A finish characterised by pronounced minerality and salty nuances rounds off the taste experience. Although it is already very pleasantly accessible after sufficient aeration, it should be given the chance to fully develop. With the right maturity, this wine will only become even more grandiose!
\nServing suggestion
\nDecanting and serving at a moderate temperature is recommended.
