Distinctive notes of red pepper manifest the Red Slope as its provenance. Candied fruit and rosemary complete the olfactory kaleidoscope.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Mouth <\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>On the nose, the 2016 Pettenthal Riesling Gro\u00dfes Gew\u00e4chs from K\u00fchling-Gillot is resolute and powerful. It bears witness to the potential that a few years of bottle ripening will bring to light. Meanwhile, it is enormously dense with firm pressure on the mid palate and stands firmly on a saline foundation. The fruit shows mainly in the high extract without any fruit fat around the waist, the acidity neatly paring it down. Immense length with great potential.
