\nThis unique parcel in Eguisheim is planted with Chasselas and is characterised by its high average age of 50 years. The south-east-facing site consists of a soil of clayey limestone and marl layers.<\/p>\n
Processing details
\nCarefully harvested by hand, the must is fermented for two months in 750l clay amphorae, a process that includes malolactic acid reduction. Ageing on selected fine lees is added, followed by bottling in late spring and minimal filtration.<\/p>\n
Visual impression
\nAn intense golden yellow greets the eye, delicately enchanted by silver glittering reflections at the rim.<\/p>\n
Scent interpretation
\nThe Outrevin from Albert Mann, vintage 2020, presents the Chasselas grape in its impressive fullness. A bouquet of yellow fruits such as mandarin, vineyard peach and ripe mango, complemented by the exotic notes of ginger and orange marmalade. Mediterranean herbal notes such as rosemary, thyme and wild mint mingle with hints of coriander, honey, liquorice and vanilla. This fragrance promises an experience at first sip.<\/p>\n
