Aromas of nougat, cinnamon, cardamom and clove delicately suggest themselves, which from experience become more prominent with a bit of maturity. Violets, peony and thyme add a feminine touch to the whole.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Palate<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>On the palate, the 2013 Ataulfos is still somewhat closed, its acidity is refreshingly youthful and the tannin is stimulating and demanding. This structure suits it perfectly and gives it youthful finesse. Even though it is already accessible due to its fruit and fruit sweetness, it is still in its infancy and still has a lot of potential for development. Burgundian finesse paired with Spanish fire, we may be curious.
