Black fruit flavours dominate - Optimally ripe cherries<\/strong>, Plums<\/strong> and Figs<\/strong> - accentuated by a delightful note of Morello cherries<\/strong>, which creates tension. The twelve-month barrique maturation is perfectly integrated: Cinnamon<\/strong>, Dark chocolate<\/strong> and Black olives<\/strong> merge with tertiary notes of Graphite<\/strong>, Smoke<\/strong> and Leather<\/strong>. Juicy dark fruit is paired with elegant spice and a volume that never seems heavy. The texture is dense, almost silky, carried by polished, fine-grained tannins that offer structure without harshness. The blend of 52% Grenache Noir, 38% Syrah and 10% Mourv\u00e8dre was fermented spontaneously in a large wooden vat and macerated for three weeks.
