Hand-picked, followed by a new selection at the sorting table, the Eisbach is fermented spontaneously, matured in large old Doppelst\u00fcck barrels as well as in stainless steel and left on the yeast until spring.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Colour <\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Bright straw yellow, bright and clear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Nose <\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>The youthful nose of the 2020 Eisbach Riesling from Battenfeld-Spanier is still somewhat marked by the fermentation carbonic acid and therefore needs a good shake. Then notes of stone fruit, white peach, yellow plums and mirabelles clearly emerge. Spicy flanked by kitchen herbs such as fresh chervil, it is underpinned by slightly salty notes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Mouth <\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>On the nose, the youthful juicy fruit is accompanied by distinctive minerality.
