Colour
\nSparkling golden glow, softened by gossamer green plays.
\nBouquet
\nYouthful and reserved, the Riesling Schlossberg 2019 unfolds its presence with invigorating cool minerality. An appropriate glass and a little patience reward the connoisseur as it allows subtle fruit tones of citrus, mango, apricot and honeydew melon to surface. Seductive accents of ginger, lime zest and lemongrass join in, accompanied by florals such as elderflower and lemon balm. A smoky aura emerges as an overriding presence that enlivens the overall impression.
\nTaste
\nOn the tongue, it reveals a refreshing secret - a surprisingly pleasant tartness of lime, complemented by the fresh acidity, which perfectly embeds itself in the harmony of the wine. Fruit aromas such as young pineapple, grapefruit and peach are currently only hinted at, but can be guessed at. A wine that holds back its true strengths - those who know the Schlossberg know that it will unfold its full glory in a few years to intensify its flavour all the more. An impressive potential for maturity lies hidden here!
\nIf you want to indulge in this drop early on, it is essential to decant it sufficiently!
\nAlternatives to the food recommendations:
\nExperience it in combination with a velvety courgette soup topped with crispy baked artichokes. Another culinary experience is an aromatic lemon risotto together with roasted octopus. A hot and spicy beef curry with rice noodles and refreshing garnishes such as mint, lime and coriander rounds off this ensemble.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
