Meanwhile, the blog orginalverkorkt.de has become a constant in the German-speaking wine world with more than 800 articles. Besides blogging, he is also fond of podcasting. Together with his friend Holger Klein, he produces the wine entertainment show WRINT Flaschen every four to five weeks. In addition, there are original corked podcasts with personalities from the wine world. Moreover, he regularly writes for Schluck, effilee and the taz.<br \/>\n        <br clear=\"both\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Wine information<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>This <em>Champagne<\/em> comes from a project that Bertrand Gautherot's son-in-law is realizing with grape producer friends. It is a N\u00e9gociant project, where the vintners switched to organic and then to biodynamic cultivation. In the meantime, the vineyards have been <em>Ecocert<\/em> certified. With the 2018 vintage there are two <em>Champagne<\/em> from the site of Les Semblables. One is called <em>Bor\u00e9al<\/em> and includes the north facing parcels, this one called <em>Austral<\/em> and includes the south-facing warmer plots. The <em>Champagne<\/em> is a single-varietal Pinot Noir from a strongly calcareous site with clay and loam near Buxi\u00e8res-sur-Arce. Whole grapes were pressed, fermented spontaneously, aged in used 350- and 500-litre barrels, followed by 15 months of yeast storage. The <em>Brut Nature<\/em> was disgorged on 18. 10. 2020.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Colour<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>Pale pink like a \u0152il de Perdrix, continuous perlage<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Nose<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>The <em>Semblables Austral<\/em> comes from a cool area on the C\u00f4te des Bar, but unlike his counterpart <em>Bor\u00e9al<\/em> from a south-facing site. This is noticeable on the nose with a clearly different aroma. There are clearly more fruity notes of wild strawberries, raspberries and even blackberries in combination with cool stone, grapefruits and lemons as well as with a breath of blossoms and bread dough.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Palate<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>On the palate the <em>Semblables Austral<\/em> similar red berry and slightly fruity. The term <em>fruity<\/em> must be relative to the cooler <em>Bor\u00e9al<\/em> because of course the fruit only flashes here and does not lay itself broadly over the palate. The <em>Champagne<\/em> shows itself lively with an almost sensual acidity and perlage.
