The brilliance speaks for the precise work in the cellar.<\/dd>\n<dt>Nose<\/dt>\n<dd>This reveals a <strong>Stone wine<\/strong> of remarkable clarity and precision. The flavour combines mineral coolness with ripe fruit: <strong>Lemon and grapefruit zest<\/strong>, freshly baked <strong>Grapefruit juice<\/strong>, <strong>Verbena<\/strong> and <strong>Mint<\/strong>. Subtle notes of <strong>black tea<\/strong> and <strong>Wax<\/strong> give the bouquet additional complexity. A wine that does not deny its origins.<\/dd>\n<dt>Palate<\/dt>\n<dd>Through and through <strong>dry<\/strong>, with a fascinating textural dimension that is reminiscent of <strong>Rock dust<\/strong> reminiscent. At the same time, this Riesling is remarkably mellow and charming. <strong>Handy, dense and compact<\/strong> it presents itself, in depth <strong>Mineral bubbling<\/strong>, <strong>mouth watering salty<\/strong>, <strong>stony and smoky<\/strong>. The balance between structural tension and sensual fruit is masterfully achieved - a textural wine that never seems cool or closed.<\/dd>\n<dt>Departure<\/dt>\n<dd>Long and <strong>mineral<\/strong>, with persistent <strong>Saltiness<\/strong> and a fine <strong>Smokiness<\/strong>, that will resonate for a long time to come.<\/dd>\n<dt>Terroir &amp; origin<\/dt>\n<dd>The M\u00f6lsheim vineyards are located <strong>Higher and cooler<\/strong> than the better-known Hohen-S\u00fclzen sites. The soils are <strong>stony-barren<\/strong>characterised by <strong>pure lime<\/strong> with only a small amount of humus and gravel - ideal conditions for Rieslings with a mineral character, tension and precision.<\/dd>\n<dt>Grape variety &amp; vinification<\/dt>\n<dd><strong>Hand-picked<\/strong> and <strong>spontaneously fermented<\/strong>, the wine matured until the following spring in the <strong>large wooden barrel on the fine lees<\/strong>. The <strong>Treasure Collection<\/strong> was then stored in the winery's new ageing cellar - additional bottle ageing that gave the wine depth and integration.<\/dd>\n<dt>Food pairing suggestions<\/dt>\n<dd>An ideal companion to <strong>fried turbot<\/strong>, <strong>Scallops with lemon butter<\/strong>, <strong>Sweetbreads<\/strong> or <strong>creamy goat's cheese<\/strong>.
