These fruit flavours are elegantly contrasted by a mineral complexity of crushed limestone and a subtle herbal spiciness. The high proportion of Meunier gives the wine an accessible fruitiness, while surprising notes of crunchy apples and an almost playful allusion to red Ahoy sherbet add excitement.<\/p>\n On the palate, the true mastery of this champagne is revealed in its perfect balance. The lively acidity structure carries the juicy fruit with ease, while the fine perlage allows the wine to dance across the tongue.
