A. et P. de Villaine stands for Burgundian winemaking culture at the highest level. Aubert de Villaine, co-owner and director of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti for many years, has created a winery in Bouzeron with his cousin Pierre that is dedicated to the authentic interpretation of the terroir. Far from the limelight of the Côte d'Or, they cultivate wines here that combine precision with character and express the true soul of the Côte Chalonnaise.

This reveals the philosophy of the de Villaine house: no technical interventions that could distort the expression of the terroir, but rather careful accompaniment of the wine from the vine to the bottle. The wines are not designed according to fashions or market expectations, but instead follow a deep understanding of tradition and the potential of their sites.

This wine harmonises perfectly with fine French cuisine. We particularly recommend dishes such as fried scallops, lobster with butter sauce or a classic chicken de Bresse. Its mineral structure and balanced acidity also make it the ideal accompaniment to soft cheeses from the region.

Character
