His Olla Rouge embodies a <strong>Uncomplicated drinking pleasure<\/strong>, deliberately designed to be low in alcohol (10% vol.) and <strong>Maximum freshness<\/strong> sets. The magnum bottle emphasises the sociable character of this wine - an uncomplicated companion that invites you to enjoy it together. The unusual cuv\u00e9e of <strong>Grenache<\/strong>, <strong>Macabeu<\/strong> and <strong>Grenache Gris<\/strong> produces a light, juicy red wine with a light ruby colour and lively fruit.<\/dd>\n<dt>Terroir &amp; origin<\/dt>\n<dd>The Roussillon region, wedged between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, is characterised by <strong>intense solar radiation<\/strong> and the <strong>Tramontane wind<\/strong>, which ensures dry, healthy grapes. Matassa works with old vines in the high altitudes of Calce <strong>Slate and granite floors<\/strong>, which retain an astonishing freshness despite the Mediterranean climate. The early harvest and gentle vinification aim to bring this natural tension into the bottle - a deliberate alternative to the powerful, alcohol-rich wines for which the region has long been known.<\/dd>\n<dt>Grape variety &amp; vinification<\/dt>\n<dd>The combination of <strong>red and white Grenache<\/strong> with the white Macabeu grape is characteristic of Lubbe's approach: he searches for <strong>Texture and drinking flow<\/strong> instead of concentration. The grapes are harvested early and partly vinified as whole bunch fermentation, which gives the wine its <strong>crunchy fruit<\/strong> and floral notes.
