Vinified without added sulphateIt reveals a remarkable purity of expression - an unadulterated portrait of the Burgundian terroir that brings the limestone soils of its homeland to life with every sip.

The absence of added sulphites (Sans Sulfite Ajouté) is more than a technical decision - it is an expression of Rougeot Père & Fils' philosophy of letting nature speak with minimal intervention. This approach requires exceptional precision in winemaking and flawless grapes. The moderate alcohol content of 12.0% emphasises the finesse that this family seeks in its wines. not power for its own sake, but elegance and balance.

The subtle residual sweetness and natural acidity of Aligoté make it a versatile accompaniment at the table. It harmonises wonderfully with the classic dishes of its homeland - a gougères with its airy cheese pastry, a creamy époisses or a simple but perfectly prepared omelette aux fines herbes. The purity of its expression comes into its own with seafood, where its mineral notes emphasise the salty freshness of oysters or a white fish tartare.

Terroir and tradition
