The vineyards extend over several old sandstone terraces directly to the edge of the forest.One has in this south-east slope a fantastic view over the Rhine plain to the Black Forest.A valley incision brings also still the evening sun on this higher situated parcel<\/div>\n<div>The soil consists of poor sandy red sandstone, which only allows yields of 35hl\/ha.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Colour<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>Delicate golden yellow with green reflections.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Nose<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>The 2018 Riesling M\u00e4ush\u00f6hle am Kirchberg has mineral depth and demands the decanter to show itself. With the necessary oxygen, its yellow-fruited aromas of apricot, orange and citrus emerge, intermixed with fresh herbs and distinct ginger and verbena. It seems almost shy and shines with a lot of minerality and elegant restraint, patience is required with this fine drop.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Palate<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>On the palate, it is extremely juicy with ripe fruit and precise acidity, which is beautifully integrated into the fruit melt. This wine is permeated by a strand of minerality and stimulating spice in the finish.
