The fine, persistent perlage is the result of careful bottle fermentation and a long maturation period on the lees.<\/dd>\n<dt>Nose<\/dt>\n<dd>Seductively red-fruity and expressive: <strong>Wild strawberries<\/strong>, <strong>Raspberries<\/strong> and <strong>Sweet cherries<\/strong> dominate the bouquet. This is underpinned by fine pastry notes of <strong>fresh sourdough bread<\/strong> and <strong>Quark<\/strong> - a sign of malolactic fermentation and the reserve wines that give the Champagne depth.<\/dd>\n<dt>Palate<\/dt>\n<dd>A lively interplay of red fruits unfolds on the palate, accompanied by subtle notes of <strong>lactic<\/strong> and <strong>oxidative notes<\/strong>. The ten per cent red wine content from Chamery brings tangible tannins and structural depth. With juicy pressure and vibrant freshness, this ros\u00e9 combines drinking pleasure with artisanal finesse - the Brut Nature dosage (1.5-2.5 g) emphasises the pure fruit.<\/dd>\n<dt>Departure<\/dt>\n<dd>Persistent and fresh with a fine texture, the red fruits linger for a long time, accompanied by a subtle spiciness and mineral notes from the Premier Cru sites.<\/dd>\n<dt>Terroir &amp; origin<\/dt>\n<dd>The grapes come from 35 parcels in the Premier Cru communes <strong>Chamery<\/strong>, <strong>Vrigny<\/strong> and <strong>Coulommes-la-Montagne<\/strong> in the Petite Montagne, west of the Montagne de Reims. The vines, which are on average 35 years old, bring concentration and strength of character.<\/dd>\n<dt>Grape variety &amp; vinification<\/dt>\n<dd>Assemblage of 50% <strong>Pinot Noir<\/strong>, 25% <strong>Chardonnay<\/strong> and 25% <strong>Meunier<\/strong> (basis 2022) with 30% reserve wines according to the <strong>Solera method<\/strong>. The first fermentation took place at 70% in stainless steel tanks and at 30% in oak barrels. The red wine matured in 400-litre barrels.
