Clos Prieur, one of the village's smaller Premier Cru sites, is favourably situated on the hillside and produces wines of <strong>remarkable finesse and structure<\/strong>. Despite challenging climatic conditions, the 2021 vintage presents itself as a <strong>elegant, precise Pinot Noir<\/strong> with a classic Burgundian character - a wine that will reward patience.<\/dd>\n<dt>Terroir &amp; origin<\/dt>\n<dd>Gevrey-Chambertin forms the northern gateway to the C\u00f4te de Nuits and is famous for its <strong>powerful, long-lasting Pinot Noirs<\/strong>. The Clos Prieur benefits from <strong>calcareous clay soils<\/strong> with good drainage and an exposed hillside location that offers the grapes optimal ripening conditions. The Trapet family has been cultivating their plots since 1995 <strong>biodynamic<\/strong>, This is reflected in the vibrancy and expressiveness of its wines.
