The viscosity already reveals the density and concentration of this remarkable Riesling.<\/p>\n<h3>Nose<\/h3>\n<p>A fascinating bouquet of exceptional precision. <strong>Ripe citrus fruits<\/strong> meet <strong>Stone fruit<\/strong>The flavours are underpinned by mineral notes of wet slate and a hint of wild herbs. The biodynamic approach is evident in the complexity and purity of the flavours - nothing seems contrived, everything flows organically into one another.<\/p>\n<h3>Palate<\/h3>\n<p>The true greatness of this unique wine is revealed on the palate. Taut and focussed with a vibrant acid structure that gives the wine backbone and length. The moderate residual sweetness is perfectly integrated and balances the lively acidity. The finish is impressively long, mineral and characterised by salty precision - a fingerprint of the Rheingau terroir in its purest form.<\/p>\n<h3>General information<\/h3>\n<p>Peter Jakob K\u00fchn is one of the pioneers of biodynamic winemaking in Germany. The winery has been working according to Demeter guidelines since 2004, with the aim of authentically expressing the vitality of the soil and the individuality of each vineyard. The Schlehdorn 2021 is a prime example of this philosophy - a wine that was not made, but rather carefully accompanied.<\/p>\n<h3>Food pairing suggestions<\/h3>\n<p>This multi-layered Riesling harmonises excellently with <strong>fried sea bass<\/strong>, <strong>Scallops<\/strong> or <strong>Lobster<\/strong>. Also to <strong>Dishes with Asian influences<\/strong>especially with <strong>Lemon grass<\/strong> and <strong>Ginger<\/strong>it makes a congenial partner.
