Clear and brilliant in the glass.<\/dd>\n<dt>Nose<\/dt>\n<dd>Charming and expressive with <strong>dark floral notes<\/strong>, which form the prelude. <strong>Black cherries<\/strong>, <strong>Raspberries<\/strong> and <strong>Blackberries<\/strong> develop generously, still showing slight reduction at this young stage, which quickly disappears with air. <strong>Liquorice<\/strong> dominates the spicy accents in front of discreet <strong>Chocolate<\/strong>, and a fine herbal flavouring with a hint of <strong>Rosemary<\/strong>. Expansive and fruity.<\/dd>\n<dt>Palate<\/dt>\n<dd>Surprisingly cool and subtle in its approach, then gripping with <strong>meaty texture<\/strong> and robust tannin. The structure is remarkable for an entry-level wine: <strong>animating acidity<\/strong> meets ripe fruit that blends harmoniously with the mineral component. In the middle section, the fruit elegantly recedes and allows the spice to take centre stage. <strong>Liquorice<\/strong>, <strong>Rosemary<\/strong> and <strong>Juniper<\/strong> characterise the flavour. Clean, uncomplicated, but by no means simple.<\/dd>\n<dt>Departure<\/dt>\n<dd>Medium length with persistent <strong>Herbal notes<\/strong> and <strong>Liquorice<\/strong>, which persistently cling to the palate. The acidity ensures freshness right to the end.<\/dd>\n<dt>Terroir &amp; origin<\/dt>\n<dd>From young vines from different plots between <strong>830 and 850 metres altitude<\/strong> in the Ribera del Duero. The <strong>Sandy and clay soils<\/strong> of the high altitudes give this wine its cool elegance and uncomplicated fruitiness - an authentic, accessible portrait of the region.<\/dd>\n<dt>Grape variety &amp; vinification<\/dt>\n<dd><strong>100% Tinto Fino<\/strong> (local name for Tempranillo).
