The fruit is phenolically concentrated, almost only as <strong>Bowl<\/strong> present, with a bitter undertone. This is joined by <strong>Citrus oils<\/strong>, <strong>Orange blossom water<\/strong>, a touch <strong>green almond<\/strong> and the spicy note of <strong>French tarragon<\/strong>. This nose promises excitement.<\/dd>\n<dt>Palate<\/dt>\n<dd>Crystalline and razor-sharp on the palate - this Aligot\u00e9 literally vibrates on the palate. The tart, citrusy components have a lasting finish.<\/dd>\n<dt>Terroir &amp; origin<\/dt>\n<dd>R\u00e9mi Jobard cultivates his vineyards in <strong>Meursault<\/strong> Certified organic since 2008. The calcareous soils of the region are his leitmotif - and it is precisely this minerality that sings unmistakably in this Aligot\u00e9.<\/dd>\n<dt>Grape variety &amp; vinification<\/dt>\n<dd>Jobard has only recently started vinifying himself <strong>Aligot\u00e9<\/strong> - Before that, his father sold the grapes. The careful ageing takes place in <strong>600-litre Stockinger barrels<\/strong> instead of in small barriques to allow slow oxygen exchange without dominant wood flavours.
