Wine information<\/p>\n
The wine comes from vines in the Climat Les Ormes and Aux Ormes directly on the D 974. The 0.16 hectares of cultivated land are characterised by chalky clay. After destemming, cool pre-fermentation and spontaneous fermentation, the wine is matured slowly on the fine lees for 18 months in 228-litre barriques (mainly from Fran\u00e7ois Fr\u00e8res) with a new wood content of 50 to 75%.<\/p>\n

The Vosne-Roman\u00e9e<\/em> shows clearly reductive notes of gunpowder and cassis at the beginning, but these weaken considerably with air in the decanter.
