Clear, brilliant texture in the glass.<\/dd>\n<dt>Nose<\/dt>\n<dd>Expressive and multi-layered: <strong>white peaches<\/strong>, <strong>Apricots<\/strong> and <strong>Mirabelle plums<\/strong> meet <strong>Acacia blossoms<\/strong> and <strong>Camomile<\/strong>. Including mineral notes of <strong>moist granite<\/strong> and <strong>Beeswax<\/strong>, and a fine <strong>Almond<\/strong>-note, which is due to the Marsanne component.<\/dd>\n<dt>Palate<\/dt>\n<dd>Remarkably structured for a white Crozes-Hermitage: the Roussanne brings <strong>Tension<\/strong> and <strong>Acid backbone<\/strong>, while the Marsanne for <strong>Fullness<\/strong> and <strong>creamy texture<\/strong> provides. Dominant flavours <strong>Ripe stone fruits<\/strong>, <strong>Candied citrus peel<\/strong> and a discreet <strong>Honey note<\/strong>. The mid-palate reveals a salty flavour reminiscent of the granite soils of the northern Rh\u00f4ne. The 131TP13 tonnes of alcohol are perfectly integrated, the wine never seems heavy.<\/dd>\n<dt>Departure<\/dt>\n<dd>Long and precise with persistent <strong>Minerality<\/strong> and a touch of <strong>white pepper<\/strong>. The freshness remains until the end - a sign of the considerable ageing potential.<\/dd>\n<dt>Terroir &amp; origin<\/dt>\n<dd>David Reynaud cultivates his plots in the heart of Crozes-Hermitage biodynamically. The granite soils give the wine the mineral precision that sets it apart from simpler representatives of the appellation and brings it closer to great Hermitage growths.<\/dd>\n<dt>Grape variety &amp; vinification<\/dt>\n<dd>Classic assemblage of <strong>Roussanne<\/strong> and <strong>Marsanne<\/strong>, the two great white grape varieties of the northern Rh\u00f4ne.
