The last published vintage was 2011, now again 2015. The <i>Reserve<\/i> comes from the closed Kessellage Grassnitzberg with sandy-loamy mussel weathered limestone soils, specifically from the more than 60-year-old Riff parcel in the Ried Grassnitzberg. The wine was aged for three years in 2,000 and 2,500 barrels on the fine lees and then bottled unfiltered.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Color:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>medium golden yellow with silver reflections<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Nose:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>This <i>Reserve<\/i> inspires over at least a week with ever-changing nuances in the interplay of blossom honey, raspberries, gooseberries, cassis, grapefruits and Meyer lemons, nougat and spicy stone. The bouquet is extremely complex and already hints at the immense depth that awaits you on the palate.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Palate:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>The best way to show the <i>Reserve<\/i> currently after two to three days. Then the wine has really opened up and delivers an impressive spectacle on the palate. The <i>Grassnitzsberg<\/i> is extremely juicy and complex, the fruit very ripe, but equipped to the point with an all invigorating mineral lively acid structure.
