Meanwhile, the blog orginalverkorkt.de has become a constant in the German-speaking wine world with more than 800 articles. Besides blogging, he is also fond of podcasting. Together with his friend Holger Klein, he produces the wine entertainment show WRINT Flaschen every four to five weeks. Moreover, he regularly writes for Schluck, effilee and the taz.<br \/>\n        <br clear=\"both\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>About the wine<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>The 2017 <em>Phaunus Loureiro<\/em> Aged for seven months in large clay amphorae in a shed without electricity on the lees and on the skins. 6.2 grams of acidity at 3.22 pH and 35 mg of free sulfur.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Colour<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>Very slightly hazy gold-orange<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Nose<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>This mash fermented <em>Loureiro<\/em> smells intensely of oranges and orange zest including some bitter oranges, of apricots and white blossoms, herbs and spiced tea with a little laurel. In addition, there is a little clayey earth, even something of moist loam and a breath honey.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Palate<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>On the palate the <em>Phaunus Loureiro<\/em> a firmness caused by the tannin grip. The wine is almost to chew, so one has the impression. Again, citrusy notes, more in the orange range, herbs and flowers in tea form show up. But all of this is infused with a silky yet tense acidity.
