In 2003 she won the Troph\u00e9e Ruinart as Germany's best sommeli\u00e8re and in 2005 she was named \"Sommeli\u00e8re of the Year\" by Gault Millau. Today, she is responsible for the southern German region of the Sommelier Consult agency.<br \/>\n        <br clear=\"both\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Info about the wine:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>Morgon has one of the best granite terroirs in Beaujolais and the old Gamay clones that grow on the Charmes plateau produce lovely, fruity, firm-skinned berries. The 40-55 year old vines show what is possible in Beaujolais-.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Color:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>Muted violet-red with minimal lightening towards the rim.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Nose:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>Clear and earthy with cool fruit, the 2017 Morgon shows on the nose. Dark cherries, black currants, blueberries, pepper, leather and fine dark chocolate combine with forest leaves and tree bark. A cool and fresh juniper note gives it a stimulating touch.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Palate:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>Sweet berry fruit combines with fresh acidity and fine-grained stimulating tannin. A not filling tasty treat with a fine mineral vein.
