Ripe white peaches and juicy apricots dominate, underpinned by fine citrus notes and a hint of honeydew melon. Underneath, the characteristic minerality of the Lenchen terroir shines through - stony, almost salty, with hints of wet slate. The biodynamic cultivation is evident in the exceptional clarity and depth of the flavours.<\/p>\n<h3>Palate<\/h3>\n<p>At a moderate 8% alcohol, this Riesling unfolds an impressive complexity. The sweetness is perfectly balanced by a vibrant acidity that gives the wine structure and tension. Juicy stone fruit flavours meld with honey notes and a fine herbal spiciness. The medium body carries the fruit effortlessly, while the mineral texture gives the wine grip and length. The VDP. Grosse Lage Lenchen vineyard in Oestrich has been producing Riesling of exceptional finesse for generations.
