The clarity is impressive despite the absence of added sulphites.<\/dd>\n<dt>Nose<\/dt>\n<dd>Expressive and pure Burgundy: <strong>red cherries<\/strong>, <strong>Raspberries<\/strong> and <strong>Cranberries<\/strong> meet <strong>Wild strawberries<\/strong>. Underneath you can see <strong>moist soil<\/strong>, <strong>Rose petals<\/strong> (in keeping with the name of the camp), a hint of <strong>Undergrowth<\/strong> and discreet <strong>Spicy notes<\/strong>. The sulphur-free vinification gives the wine a special liveliness and directness.<\/dd>\n<dt>Palate<\/dt>\n<dd>Juicy, vital and with the Burgundian elegance that characterises Pommard. The <strong>red fruit<\/strong> dominated, carried by a fine <strong>Acid structure<\/strong> and silky, ripe <strong>Tannins<\/strong>. Medium-bodied with excellent balance - the wine never seems heavy, but shows finesse and drinking flow. The 131TP13 tonnes of alcohol are perfectly integrated.<\/dd>\n<dt>Departure<\/dt>\n<dd>Medium to long with persistent <strong>Fruitiness<\/strong>, finer <strong>Minerality<\/strong> and a touch of <strong>Pepper<\/strong>. The freshness remains present until the end.<\/dd>\n<dt>Terroir &amp; origin<\/dt>\n<dd>The Clos des Roses is located in Pommard, one of the most characterful appellations in the C\u00f4te de Beaune. Domaine Rougeot has been fully organic since 2020 and has been in biodynamic conversion since 2021 - this wine is a testament to this path.<\/dd>\n<dt>Grape variety &amp; vinification<\/dt>\n<dd>100% <strong>Pinot Noir<\/strong> from organic cultivation, vinified <strong>without added sulphite<\/strong> (Sans Sulfite Ajout\u00e9).
