Bright cherry red in colour with ruby reflections, which are particularly brilliant in the magnum format. The colour is youthfully fresh with subtle transparency at the edge of the glass, typical of an elegant Côte d'Or Pinot Noir.

The bouquet unfolds with red berries - Raspberries and strawberries dominate, accompanied by floral notes of Violets and a touch of Rose petals. Subtle spicy nuances of white pepper and a fine minerality emphasise the Burgundian origin. The sulphur-free vinification gives the wine a special vibrancy and authenticity.

Am Gaumen zeigt sich der 2021er “Les Lameroses” mit seidiger Textur und lebendiger Säure. Die red fruit continues, supplemented by Sour cherries and a subtle herbal flavour. The tannins are finely polished and perfectly integrated. The finish is of medium length with a pleasant freshness that invites you to take another sip.

This Bourgogne Côte d'Or comes from the traditional Domaine Rougeot Père & Fils in Meursault, which has been fully certified organic since 2020. The 2021 vintage marks the start of the biodynamic conversion. With 13.0% alcohol, the wine is elegant and easy to drink.

Perfect for coq au vin, grilled salmon or Duck breast with cherries. Also to Soft cheese like Camembert or Goat cheese an excellent choice. Vegetarian dishes with Mushrooms or Ratatouille also harmonise wonderfully.

The Sulphur-free vinification (“Sans Sulfite Ajouté”) macht diesen Wein zu einem authentischen Ausdruck des Terroirs. Das Magnum format favours a slower, more harmonious maturation. A wine that impressively represents the new generation of the Domaine Rougeot and its focus on natural production methods.

Palate
