It is a wine made from 100 % S\u00e9millon from red clayey sand and limestone and thus from the unique terroir of Climens. It has been produced biodynamically since 2010 according to <em>demeter<\/em>-certification. Around 45 hectolitres per hectare were harvested. The vines are around 15 years old and were planted at a density of 6,000 per hectare. The wine was matured for nine months in cement tanks.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Colour<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Light straw yellow with green reflections<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Taste<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>On the palate the <em>Bordeaux Blanc sec<\/em> Floral with notes of verbena and apple sauce, also chamomile, some stone and pome fruit. The acidity is subtle but persistent, and the wine is developed and mature.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Nose<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>The 2019 <em>Asphod\u00e8le<\/em> is a ripe wine with notes of floor wax, lots of crunchy apple and some quince, apple peel, lanolin and the scent of lime and acacia blossom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Taste<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>On the palate, the wine is spicy and juicy with ripe S\u00e9millon notes of lime and acacia blossom as well as some honey and wax and ripe apple with apple compote.
