Uncomplicated in the best sense of the word, it is an open-hearted, authentic sip of Maremma for every day. The grapes were harvested at the end of August\/beginning of September, followed by a three-day maceration on the skins before fermenting spontaneously with its own yeasts and then maturing for five months in concrete tanks. Unlitro was first produced in 2011 and has a production volume of 160,000 bottles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Colour <\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Transparent ruby red, bright and clear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Nose <\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>The 2022 UNLITRO from Ampeleia smells just like a bottle of red wine in a pub with red and white chequered tablecloths should smell. Red-fruity and youthfully fresh, it combines its juicy fruit with the distinctive flavours of southern Tuscany. Cherries, redcurrants and mulberries mingle with laurel, rosemary and a touch of maquis. A light-hearted drink for the joys of everyday life with a jovial character.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Mouth <\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Juicy and boozy, everything on the palate is also in good proportion. The fresh fruit is flanked by stimulatingly tart tannins, a little fermentation carbon dioxide ensures even faster flow and so it joyfully fills all goblets, whether at the table or in pure conviviality.
