Ch\u00e2teau La Nerthe was already known far beyond the borders of France in the 18th century. Since 1985, everything has been done to place it once again among the best Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape estates. The organic cultivation, which has been certified since 1998, has played and continues to play a significant role in this. The 57 plots of the 92 hectares of vineyards are vinified and vinified separately, using the four most important types of soil as well as the 13 grape varieties of the appellation. The Clos de Beauvenir and Les Cadettes are the two historic vineyards below the Ch\u00e2teau. The Clos is reserved for white varieties because of its higher chalk content.
