Initially closed and reserved, a fascinating complexity unfolds after aeration. Citrus notes<\/strong> and green apple<\/strong> harmonise with Lemon balm<\/strong> and Elderflower<\/strong>. The terroir speaks a clear language: pure Shale minerality<\/strong> dominates, underpinned by noble smoky nuances that lend depth and elegance.<\/p>\n A textbook example of a classic Mosel late harvest. The Fine residual sweetness<\/strong> is perfectly balanced by lively acidity, while delicate Citrus-apple flavours<\/strong> caress the palate. At a moderate 7.5% alcohol, this is a wine of impressive finesse and drinkability. The stony minerality continues on the palate and gives the wine its characteristic Mosel identity.<\/p>\n From the steeply terraced Enkircher Ellergrub vineyard, 80% planted with ungrafted vines. Organic farming<\/strong> and Spontaneous fermentation<\/strong> in a 500-litre stainless steel barrel without fining agent. This wine still needs time - decanting or leaving it open in the fridge for one or two days will already make it more accessible.<\/p>\n Perfect for Burrata, mango and avocado tartlets with wild herb salad<\/strong>, Grilled sea bass with lime and capers<\/strong> or surprisingly also to Thai beef salad with lotus roots, chilli and coriander<\/strong>.<\/p>\n A wine with enormous ageing potential from an underrated vineyard.
